Nefetari Spencer is a lover not a fighter and proud to be Co-Creator, Producer and Director of EDF3. Hailing from Chicago and an only child, Nef has always been one with a vivid imagination. After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film and Art History from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia, Nef moved back to Chicago to pursue a career behind the scenes. Within a year she became one of the youngest Assistant Directors doing live broadcast television shows in Chicago. After a year and a half and a few promising interviews at Harpo for a position at The Oprah Winfrey Show, Nef decided it was time to move to Los Angeles. She quickly landed a position as assistant to the VP of Television at Warner Bros and then became a Production Coordinator for several shows including, ironically, two sketch shows -- the short lived Fox show “Hype” and Jamie Foxx’s pilot, “Deez Nuts”. After Jamie’s show didn’t get a pick up she landed on the breakout, Emmy award winning “Bernie Mac Show”. Sharing her love for all things Chicago, Bernie took an immediate liking to Nef and became her mentor until his untimely passing in August 2008. Bernie always encouraged Nef to follow her true passion. It is with his words in mind that she decided to stop hiding behind a desk. “It was so dark and cold under there, not to mention the back problems it created”. Nef went on to study improvisation at Improv Olympic West, The Groundlings and helped form the sketch group Cleo’s Apartment that lead to the multi-million viewed youtube sensation “Condilicious”. She even went on to test for a coveted spot on Saturday Night Live.  SNL’s incomprehensible decision not to cast Nef gave her the time and inspiration to create Elite Delta Force 3. www.elitedeltaforce3.com

Nef works mostly in television and film, however she couldn’t turn down the opportunity to perform a scene from “The Colored Museum” with Loretta Divine and Vicki Lynn Reynolds in a star studded tribute for the legendary Ruby Dee. Other recent credits include several national commercials, “The Hard Times of RJ Berger”, “The Young and the Restless”, “Rules of Engagement” and her first starring lead role in the soon to be released film, “The Company We Keep”. TCWK has been getting rave reviews in film fests across the country. It is the 2011 winner of the Best Feature award from the Atlanta Urban Film Festival, was selected as one of the Big 8 in the San Diego Black Film Fest, and recently screened here in Los Angeles at the Pan African Film Festival.
